Welcome to the Moorland Guides
Dartmoor National Park is a place of beauty, mystery and diverse ecology. Covering 368 square miles, it contains remains of settlements reaching back to prehistoric times and today is still home to thousands of people who live and work here. It is in every respect a working landscape, yet one that shares it’s ancient history with those who walk its paths and climbs its tors. With a national park as large as Dartmoor with so much to learn and enjoy, you may prefer, as many visitors do, to walk the moors in the company of a knowledgable guide who can explain the moorland in as much detail as you want.
