Wheelchair Access Group (WAG)

The Wheeled Access Group was set up in 2017 in order to find routes on Dartmoor so that the 2018 Dartmoor Walking Festival could offer walks to people using powered chairs and mobility scooters. Since then, they've gone from strength to strength and go out twice a month to recce and assess new routes and offer regular walks to all who are interested. Additionally, they work with Dartmoor National Park Authority and the Disabled Ramblers on issues surrounding accessibility.

Dartmoor Preservation Association

For over 140 years, Dartmoor Preservation Association have been at the forefront of campaigning for the protection and conservation of Dartmoor National Park. Their varied work includes a vast range of projects ranging from those working to preserve the natural habitats on Dartmoor to supporting access for all to this special space. We're delighted to be partnered with them and look forward to continuing to collaborate with them on a range of projects.

Help For Heroes 

We have been collaborating with Help for Heroes for several years now, offering regular guided walks on Dartmoor for serving military and veterans. These walks have proved incredibly beneficial for both physical rehabilitation purposes and for promoting positive mental health, as well as facilitating a community of like-minded folk on the moors. 

Dartmoor Partner

Dartmoor Partner is a fantastic organisation that aims to make Dartmoor easy to explore, helping people find incredible routes for them to go out on with the family. They offer a subscription service so you can access dozens of carefully selected and well researched child-friendly routes, with all the information you need to be prepared and go out on the best adventure!
